Testing

To ensure that CPC pumps meet our customer’s specifications and expectations, each hydrocarbon pump unit must successfully pass the following quality tests:

  • Hydrostatic pressure
  • Hydraulic performance
  • Vibration
  • Mechanical reliability
  • Air test of complete assembled unit prior to shipment

Our testing capabilities for your API 610 pump:

  • 30,000 gallon (114 m³) test tank
  • Up to 4,500 HP (3,350 kW) VFD drive
  • Test motor voltages of 460V, 575V, 6kV, 10kV, 11kV, 13kV and 13.6kV
  • Hydrostatic testing up to 8,000 psig (55,200 kPaG)
  • MPI, LP and RT non-destructive examination available
  • Hardness testing
  • PMI on alloys
